How to use EventKoi dynamic content in Divi

Requirements: EventKoi Pro, and Divi 4 (either the Divi theme or the Divi Builder plugin – not both).

EventKoi dynamic content lets you pull live event data – like the title, date, location, or ticket details – into any text or link field in Divi. This is the building block for creating custom event templates that automatically adapt to whichever event is being viewed.

How to use EventKoi dynamic content

  1. Open any module that has a text or link field – for example a Text module or a Button module.
  2. Hover over the field you want to make dynamic. A small dynamic content icon will appear.
  3. Click the icon and select Use Dynamic Content.
  4. In the dropdown, scroll to the EventKoi group.
  5. Select the EventKoi field you want to display.

Once you’ve selected a field, you can click on the settings gear icon to optionally add text in the Before and After boxes that appear. This text wraps around the dynamic value – so you could add “Starts: ” before a date field, for example.

Click Save Changes to apply.

Which event does the field show?

EventKoi dynamic content fields automatically resolve to the event currently being viewed. They’re designed to work inside event templates. If you add a dynamic field to a module on a regular page rather than an event template, it will only show a value if that page is the event’s own page – otherwise the field displays nothing.
