But in case you have some questions you first need answered, here’s a little more information…
How is EventKoi different from the other events plugins out there?
EventKoi stands out in 2 ways:

The most popular events plugins today were built for Classic WordPress, back when Skype was the best way to call someone on the internet.
We’re building an events plugin that feels beautiful, fast, and modern. EventKoi is built for how you build websites in 2025.
You want an events plugin that’s flexible, queryable, performant. One that works with the WP REST API, block templates, page builders, and more.
That’s us!
2. Specific
You know how sometimes you see a feature or an integration and it seems to be what you need. But then you actually try to use it, and you find that it’s lacking all the nuance and polish that actually makes it useable?
That’s the opposite of what we’re trying to do here. With EventKoi, we’re allergic to “generic”.
We want specificity.
We build for specific use cases. If we don’t know why or how a feature will be used, we won’t build it until we’ve talked to customers and formed a deep understanding about what the feature needs in order to be truly useable for you.
We build for specific users. We always want to be clear about who we’re building for and the context within which you’ll be using our plugin.
Is there a launch discount?
Yes! The price you see on our website right now is our discounted launch price. Even better, you will keep this price forever. Meaning, price increases that affect other people will never affect you. As long as you keep your subscription, it will forever be renewed at the launch price.
Please note that you can’t upgrade your subscription at discounted prices. This means that, if you purchased a single license subscription today, you cannot upgrade to a 25 license subscription next year. You will have to buy a completely new 25 license subscription.
EventKoi is still new, what’s on your 2025 roadmap?
Aside from bug fixes, which are an ongoing priority, here’s our roadmap for the rest of the year:
1. August- September: Improving our calendar and list views.
2. September – November: Improving our templates, blocks, short codes, and page builder compatibility.
3. November – January: Front end submission forms. We’re also likely to build integrations with popular form builders.
Next year: Our main focus is likely to be tickets.
You’re missing some features that I need. Should I buy now or later?
To me, there are 4 scenarios:
Buy now, use now: If you’ve tried our demo and it has everything you need, you should buy now to lock in the discounted price and use it right away. No brainer!
Buy now, use soon: Let’s say you’ve tried our demo, and like how the plugin is architected, but you’ve found that we’re missing a couple of features that are already on our 2025 roadmap. In that case, you should buy now to lock in the discount, wait a couple of months for the feature to be built, and use it then.
Wait and see: If you like how EventKoi is designed, but you need features that I haven’t listed above on our roadmap… Then buying now might not make sense for you.
It might be better to wait and see if we build the features you need in the future.
If you strongly think we should re-prioritise and build the feature you need right now, please email me. I’m open-minded and am happy to consider changing course if it makes sense to do so.
Don’t buy: If EventKoi’s overall design and architecture don’t fit your preference, there are plenty of alternative plugins out there that might suit you better.
How can I be sure you build features in the way I need them?
Simple! Just fill out the feature request form and tell me what you need. I personally read and reply to every single one.
Like I said above, EventKoi is built for specific users and use cases.
EventKoi should feel like a lifesaver to people who have shopped around and couldn’t find what they need. And the only way for us to achieve this is by deeply knowing our customer use cases and needs.
So please, don’t be shy. Get in touch!
And if it’s really impossible to build what you need, I promise to be upfront about it and suggest some alternative events plugins.
