Can you introduce yourself?
Hi, my name is Tobias Weidhase. I live and work in Germany and i’m the owner of a yoga studio, Yoga Prive.
How did you hear about us?
I read about the plugin in a WordPress newsletter. I was interested because the recommendation mentioned that you already have another well-rated plugin in your portfolio.
What event plugins did you try/consider before you chose EventKoi? And what made you choose us?
I tried several event and booking plugins for WordPress, but most of them were too complicated to manage or had an outdated design—especially when it came to integration with WordPress blocks. I then used an expensive external provider for a long time and embedded their calendar via an iframe.
Another important aspect was data protection: I wanted to manage all personal data myself again, rather than through an external provider.
What did you build with EventKoi?
I offer several different events, such as yoga classes, training courses, and seminars – some recurring and some one-time events. I have created different calendars for each of these, entered the respective dates, and embedded them on booking pages. My requirement is to create and manage these events in a simple way.
How was your experience setting up and using EventKoi?
I have been a customer since the first release. Even here, the setup was relatively simple and straightforward. There were a few minor technical issues, which were immediately resolved by support and incorporated into updates. The experience with support was great—very fast response times, very solution-oriented, very competent.
Who would you recommend EventKoi to?
I can definitely recommend EventKoi. Especially for self-employed people or small businesses that deal with appointment management and are looking for a simple solution with the most important basic features. The target audience could be yoga studios, Pilates studios, and small providers of training courses and seminars, for example.
