This past December, we shipped a brand new onboarding wizard and an Elementor integration. Check out our changelog for a full list of updates.

Onboarding Wizard and plugin tour

Installing a new plugin is always a slightly stressful process as you never know what you’re going to get. With our new onboarding wizard and plugin tour, we hope new users will get familiar with EventKoi quickly and enjoy using us.

Plugin tours are less common in the world of WordPress plugins, but we believe it’s a great way to take you through our plugin and familiarise you with our key features and where to find them.

If you get a chance to go through it, let me know what you think!

Elementor integration

We built an extensive Elementor integration that includes a calendar and event data widget, dynamic event tags, and event templates.

This is our first time building a page builder integration, so if you use Elementor and are keen to test it out, let me know. I’d love to get feedback from you and make sure we build something that’s powerful, flexible and feels native for Elementor users.

You can read all about it here:

Coming soon

Custom fields

We’re in the final stages of testing our biggest feature yet: Custom fields!

This will allow you to add any fields you like to your events. For example, you might have an event that has a dress code or age restrictions. You can now add those into your events easily with custom fields. Coming very very soon.

Bricks, Beaver Builder, Divi and more

We’re also continuing to build out integrations with more page builders. We’re almost done with Bricks, and getting started on Beaver Builder. We have a system now, so building these page builder integrations should go faster as we get better.

Custom fields + Page builders = 💯🔥🚀

The custom fields feature unlocks many huge and exciting features.

For example, we’ll build the ability to add custom fields as dynamic tags into any of those page builders.

We also aim to allow you to capture form submissions using your page builder, and create events using custom fields.

We can’t wait to share everything that we have in store for you!

As always, you can check out our changelog for a full list of updates.
