How to use EventKoi’s event dynamic tags in Bricks

This guide explains how to use EventKoi’s event dynamic tags inside Bricks Builder to display event data dynamically in your custom templates.

This feature leverages Bricks’ dynamic data feature, which lets you pull data from other sources on your site into your Bricks template.

EventKoi comes with 14 event dynamic tags that you can add to your Bricks templates.

Add any Bricks element that has the dynamic tag option to your Bricks template. For this example, we will use the Heading element.

Add the heading element to your template, and look for the lightning icon in the Content tab.

Here, you’ll see a dropdown with a “Search tag” box, and a list of available tags. Expand EventKoi to see all of EventKoi’s available tags.

Since we have added a Heading element, we will link it to the Event Title tag. When you click on the tag, it should look something like this. If there is placeholder text like “I am a Heading”, you can remove it.

Styling the Heading element

Since this is a Heading element, you have full access to all of Bricks styling features to design the element however you wish.

The same goes for any of the other elements (with dynamic tags).
