Elementor Pro’s dynamic content feature lets you use data from across your WordPress site inside any Elementor widget. With EventKoi’s dynamic event tags, you can pull event-specific fields, like event title, date and description, directly into your custom Elementor templates.
This guide shows when to use dynamic tags and how to insert EventKoi event data into Elementor widgets.
You can learn all about dynamic content and tags in this Elementor doc. This doc will skip those basics.
When to use dynamic event tags
Dynamic content is most commonly used for page templates. For example, instead of using the EventKoi default event template, you want to create your own event template inside of Elementor.
While you could do this with our event shortcodes, it’s much more elegant to use dynamic tags as that allows you to customise each Elementor widget however you like.
How to add EventKoi event data using dynamic tags
Look for the dynamic tag icon. As long as dynamic tags are available, you can add EventKoi data.

The following are examples of how you can add event data to Elementor widgets…
Adding Event Title to Heading widget
- Add a Heading widget to your canvas.
- In the Title field, instead of typing out your event title, click on the dynamic tag icon.
- Scroll down and select Event Title.

Adding Event Details to the Text Editor
- Add the Text Editor widget to your canvas
- Click on the dynamic tag icon
- Scroll down and select Event Details
